About

Throughout his career, Haozous has integrated his Native, Apache heritage with the medium of sculpture. Like Road Snake, much of his work incorporates different animal forms that carry special meanings in Apache culture. He utilizes indigenous imagery to create critical artistic commentary on our contemporary cultural moment. In this piece, Haozous warns the viewers of the environmental cost of convenience.
